Isiah Donté Lee started his career in music videos and documentaries, shooting for artists such as Travis Scott and Tierra Whack, and with films about race in America. Notably, those two interests collided in “4 Your Eyez Only,” the HBO documentary about rapper J. Cole. He then entered narrative film working on “Burning Sands,” a drama about hazing in a Black fraternity, and television on “Boomerang,” based on the Eddie Murphy-led romantic comedy of the same name.”
